What should I know about booking with Buzz Tour Company

What does Buzz Tour Company do?
Buzz Tour Company offers small, medium and large group wine, cider and beer tours. Each tour includes a full day of experiences, an unplug from city life and a chance to play - kind of like a fun field trip for adults! Groups are picked up from a single address in Waterloo Region and whisked away to Norfolk for a day to enjoy many local wine, beers and ciders from Ontario's South Coast. (Most of which are not available in the LCBO.)
What is included in each tour?
Most wine tour packages include all tasting fees, door-to-door pick up at a single location in Waterloo Region, exclusive facility tours, light on-board snacks, and chilled bottled water any time you need it. Boxed lunch included in most group tour packages.
Will you be providing more tours than what's available right now?
Yes! We are working on a few different tours that will be made available shortly! Subscribe to our mailing list to get updates about what's coming for Buzz Tour Company.
Can you pick up from areas outside of the K-W Region?
This is possible for an additional surcharge and km fee (depending on location of pick up). Please contact us to learn more about alternate city pick-ups.
Do you have a cancellation/refund policy?
Tours can be rescheduled up to two weeks prior to the scheduled tour date. At this time we are not issuing refunds; any cancelled tours will be transitioned to a gift card that can be used toward a booking for a future date, or one of our virtual offerings.
Should a tour be cancelled by Buzz Tour Co., a *full refund will be issued, and passengers will be given at least 24-48 hours notice of cancellation. Should inclement weather prevent a tour from occurring, the tour will be rescheduled for another date.
**Should unforeseen circumstances, such as a pandemic, government regulations due to said pandemic, or other natural disasters occur that prevent us from touring, your experience will be rescheduled or you can opt to be issued an in-store credit/gift card to rebook your tour at a future date.
Can a tour be rescheduled?
Notice of rescheduling must be given at least two weeks in advance of your scheduled tour date.
How can I book a tour?
Simply visit our Tour Packages page and select the tour option that best suits your group. The scheduler will walk you through the information collection and payment process required to complete your booking.

What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard through our secure booking software, and e-transfers are an option upon request.
Should you be looking to avoid paying booking fees, please contact us directly to book your tour.
Can I leave a deposit for a tour instead of paying for the entire balance upfront?
Contact us to arrange a deposit and payment arrangements. Our online processor can only collect the full amount of the booking.
Why is there a fee to book online? And can I avoid paying that fee?
Online fees are a part of making online purchases, however you can pay direct with Visa, Mastercard and e-transfer to avoid paying these charges. Contact us to book.
Can I book a tour online within 48 hours of a tour departure date and time?
We suggest giving us a call if you are trying to book within 48 hours of the tour departure date to check/confirm availability.
Are gift certificates available?
Gift certificates are available in any denomination. Learn about the options available to you!
I'm looking to book a tour for a small corporate group, can we be invoiced for payment instead of scheduling online?
Yes. Please contact us directly and we will work with you to organize the details of your corporate event, including invoicing.
Do you provide pick-up and drop off to more than one location per tour?
Pick up and drop off can include more than one stop should you request it. Contact us for rates and to make arrangements.
Can I book a single seat on the tour instead of booking the entire van?
YES! Buzz Tour Co. allows you to book single seats for our "Sporadic Adventure" tours that take place throughout the season. Check out the tour packages and sign up for our e-newsletter to get notified when new tours or special events are being offered. Another great option is to book a small group tour with as few as four people for one of our "Mini Mixers".
Do you offer tours, or stops to different locations than what is listed on your website?
The sites selected for the tours are organized to provide you with the best and most balanced experience. Should the group be interested in swapping out a stop or two on their tour within Norfolk, that may be possible. Please note that it will greatly depend on time of year, distance and availability within the area. Include this request when booking your tour!

Are custom tours available?

Can Buzz Tour Company provide large group tours?
Yes! We can work with you to provide custom group tours for larger groups. Should you be interested in this option, please contact us.
Can our group drink alcohol in the van while taking the tour?
Believe it or not, it is illegal to have any open alcohol in any vehicle at any time (limousines and party busses included). Should you choose to bring open alcohol in the vehicle without the tour guide's knowledge, and the vehicle is stopped, each individual will be responsible for any fines incurred.
